Vote up the seasons of Love Is Blind that are the most fun to watch.

Netflix's socially experimental dating show, Love Is Blind, isn't about love at first sight - it's about love before sight.

Going on literal blind dates with potential matches, contestants share deep conversations - over gilded goblets of wine - with a wall between them. Forming emotional bonds without getting hung up on physical appearances, the couples must commit to an engagement before seeing each other face-to-face. Some make it to the altar, while others alter their decisions.

With six drama-packed seasons in the rearview to date, only nine couples have proved that love is - in fact - blind. From awe-inspiring to cringeworthy, which seasons do you think take the (wedding) cake?

Latest additions: Season 2, Season 4, Season 5

    Season 6

    Season 6

    Number Of Episodes: 13

Most Chaotic Pair: Jimmy Presnell and Chelsea Blackwell's connection was tumultuous from the start. After Blackwell hinted that she resembled “Machine Gun Kelly's wife” - Megan Fox - in the pods, Presnell was visibly disappointed when he saw his fiancée for the first time. From that point on, co-dependent Blackwell struggled to feel secure in the relationship, resulting in liquor-fueled quarrels, and Presnell's accusations of being “smothered.” After one too many square-offs, they closed the curtain on their engagement before the finale.

Most In-Love Pair: Season 6 sweethearts Johnny McIntyre and Amy Cortés sailed through an argument-free courtship. An adorable, visually mismatched pair - with gawky, ginger-haired McIntyre and raven-haired bombshell Cortés - they enjoyed their honeymoon phase without the bedroom part. Forgoing physical intimacy to navigate overly complicated conversations about birth control, they decided to wait until after the wedding to consummate their love. Although they were the only Season 6 contestants who didn't do the deed, they were also the only couple to say “I do.”

Is Love Truly Blind? Only one of the five engaged couples proved that love is blind. In a season that included narcissistic man-children, recently reformed players, and contestants clearly there for the wrong reasons, the odds weren't that great to begin with.

    Season 2

    Season 2

    Number Of Episodes: 14

Most Chaotic Pair: Happy-go-lucky Shayne Jansen and stone-serious Natalie Lee were an unnatural pairing from the start. Their opposite personalities were a continual source of contention on the show - as was Jansen's eyebrow-raising connection with contestant Shaina Hurley that tread the lines of friendship and flirtation. Still, Lee was determined to make it work with Shayne, dragging him all the way to the altar. However, after she finally got him to say “I do,” she changed her mind and stated, “I don't.”

Most In-Love Pair: Starting off strong in the pods, Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl were the first Season 2 couple to get engaged sight unseen. While the couples around them navigated love triangles and constant spats, their journey to the altar was comparatively smooth, culminating in a televised 2021 fairytale wedding. Unfortunately, their marital bliss was short-lived, and despite counseling and attempts to reconcile, they ultimately called it quits in 2022.

Is Love Truly Blind? A more apt title for Season 2 of the experimental dating show might be Love Is Divorced. Ruhl's and Thompson's 2021 marriage wasn't the only one to unravel in a year; Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones also ended up getting divorced.

    Season 5

    Season 5

    Number Of Episodes: 11

Most Chaotic Pair: Although things heated up in the pods between Taylor Rue and Jared "JP" Pierce, affections dramatically cooled once he saw his bride-to-be in the foundation heavy flesh. During a painfully silent post-pod getaway in Mexico, Pierce admitted he couldn't deal with Rue's “caked on” makeup and false eyelashes. Rightfully so, she walked away from her critical fiancé. Maybe love wasn't blind, but given Pierce's wildly patriotic fashion choices - all his outfits sported American flags - he might have been.

Most In-Love Pair: Initially bonding over geology-based humor in the pods, nerdy lovebirds James "Milton" Johnson IV and Lydia Gonzalez made it through a relatively rocky courtship. While drama circulated around Gonzalez's ex-boyfriend - who was also a contestant  - Johnson stayed the course, squashing speculations that Gonzalez was only on the show to get her ex back. Sharing values and chemistry, they were the only Season 5 pair to tie the knot, and are still rocking married life today.

Is Love Truly Blind? Houston proved to have many problems in the Texas-based season of the show. Arguably the least successful finale, three couples made it to the altar, and only one rode off together into the marital sunset.

    Season 1

    Season 1

    Number Of Episodes: 14

Most Chaotic Pair: Although they said “I love you” in the pods, Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers embarked on a rocky relationship once the Love Is Blind veil was lifted. Scrappy sweetheart Gibelli was never afraid to say what was bothering her - including Powers's lackluster performance in the bedroom - igniting frequent spats between the lovebirds. It eventually proved too much for Powers, who delivered a gut-wrenching “I do not” at the altar after his fiancée's “I do,” inspiring a tearful exit in which Gibelli ran out barefoot in her wedding dress.

Most In-Love Pair: The first season spawned not one, but two happy couples. Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton felt an instantaneous spark in the pods, and sailed smoothly together into the real world, deepening their connection and navigating sensitive conversations about being an interracial couple. Amber Pike's and Matthew Barnett's connection wasn't as clear in the beginning - he initially flirted with contestant Jessica Batten in the pods - but he and Pike ended up being each other's number ones. With resounding “I dos," both couples tied the knot in 2018 at the Love Is Blind altar.

Is Love Truly Blind? While some participants were blindsided in the show's inaugural season, others proved that love is blind. Speed and Hamilton, along with Pike and Barnett, are still going strong as married couples as of March 2024. Gibelli and Powers gave it another go after the cameras stopped rolling, but it didn't last.

    Season 4

    Season 4

    Number Of Episodes: 16

Most Chaotic Pair: Marshall Glaze and Jackelina “Jackie” Bonds got engaged in the pods, but they never made it to the altar. After a string of explosive arguments revolving around him being “too sensitive,” Bonds ditched her wedding dress fitting to try on a different man instead. She returned to Josh Demas - the other contestant she'd shared a connection with in the pods - but she refused to return her engagement ring.

Most In-Love Pair: Brett Brown fell hard for Tiffany Pennywell in the pods, and Pennywell fell asleep. However, even her unfortunately timed nod off during one of their dates wasn't enough to put their love story to rest. Emerging from the pods as the season's “it” couple, their lives seemed to effortlessly align. Their post-pod vacation to Mexico was drama-free; their friends and family wholeheartedly approved of their relationship; and while there were some minor hitches on their wedding day - including an ill-fitted suit debacle - no one fell asleep, and they both said “I do.”

Is Love Truly Blind? Sometimes love is blind; sometimes it changes its mind. This was the season for decision-swapping. Bonds traded in Glaze for Demas, and Zack Goytowski changed his choice, too. After sharing clunky chemistry outside the pods with Irina Solomonova, he called off the engagement, and immediately called his other pod connection, Bliss Poureetezadi, to reconcile. In a Love Is Blind first, she rejoined the show, and - along with two other couples - their non-linear nuptial journey ended in “I do.” All three couples are still happily married.

    Season 3

    Season 3

    Number Of Episodes: 15

Most Chaotic Pair: Although they shared a strong emotional connection in the pods, Cole Barnett and Zanab Jaffrey's physical connection didn't translate into the outside world. After the big reveal, his wandering eye followed contestant Colleen Reed - with whom he shamelessly flirted at a cast pool party - sparking a fiery feud between him and his sight-unseen fiancée. They made it all the way to the altar, but ultimately Jaffrey rejected Barnett, publicly shaming him for “single-handedly shattering" her self-confidence.

Most In-Love Pair: It was love at first sound for Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux. Connecting instantly in the pods, Alfia later revealed “Brennon was my number one from day one.” After an emotional proposal with a wall in between them, Alfia - who openly struggled with body image insecurities - was nervous about how her fiancé would react to seeing her. Thankfully, there was no reason to worry. The couple's chemistry continued to flourish outside the pods, carrying them effortlessly to the altar in 2021. Still married today, the couple announced in January 2024 that they're expecting their first baby.

Is Love Truly Blind? The Season 3 finale followed five couples to the altar, but only two would leave hand-in-hand. In addition to power couple Alfia and Lemieux, Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed also made it to the marital finish line. Taking an unorthodox approach to newlywed life, they lived in separate apartments for the first two years of their marriage. In 2023, they decided to take the leap and move in together.
